After growing up in St. Albert, AB, I’m now a freelance writer, editor and otherwise Jane-of-all-trades based in Vancouver, BC. I’ve published essays, features and arts & culture coverage in Eighteen Bridges, the Edmonton Journal and New Trail magazine and was most recently nominated for four Alberta Magazine Awards in 2017.
With a BA in women’s and gender studies from the University of Alberta, I have a penchant for writing things that explore themes in social justice—but I’m always down to tell compelling stories about food, fashion and science as well. I have a growing background in editing, copy-writing and strategic communications and would love to learn more about how I can help you out with your next project.
