Robert Newman

The Man, Newmanology

Robert Newman has been the lead visual and design creative for a wide variety of magazines and newspapers, including Entertainment Weekly, The Village Voice, Details, New York, Vibe, Real Simple, Fortune, Reader’s Digest, Cottage Living, AARP the Magazine, and Fortune. He has also been a consultant, working with print, digital, and web teams for Newsweek, O, Fast Company, Inc., TV Guide, and more. Most recently he was creative director for This Old House Ventures. Robert has been based in Washington, DC, Seattle, Birmingham, and Stamford, Connecticut, and is currently living and working on the Upper West Side in New York City. He grew up outside of Buffalo, and has previously worked as a printer, paste-up artist, political organizer, and magazine editor.
