Since 1983 The Prairie Journal has published the best in the west. The Prairie Journal is a founding member of Alberta Magazine Publishers Association. We welcome talented newcomers and established authors. Every issue features original artwork. Our Annual Alberta Muse Issue celebrates Alberta Culture Days. We publish original and long form writing, poetry, short fiction, creative nonfiction, literary essays, book reviews, interviews, and drama.
