The Prairie Journal

A MAGAZINE OF CANADIAN LITERATURE

Since 1983, The Prairie Journal has published the best in the west. Our contributors are nominated for major awards. We welcome talented newcomers and established authors. Every issue features original artwork. Our Annual Alberta Muse Issue celebrates Alberta Culture Days. We print original and long form writing, poetry, short fiction, creative nonfiction, literary essays, book reviews, interviews, and drama. The Prairie Journal is a founding member of AMPA, a member of Magazines Canada, and Literary Magazines Canada Collective.
