I specialize in print. For seven years I self-published the visitor guide for Cochrane, AB (“Alternate Routes), managing all layout, ad creation, writing feature articles, sales and distribution. I’ve created ads, annual reports, newsletters, government documents, visual identities, brand/campaign fulfillment, displays and special event promotions. I’ve coordinated photo/video shoots, hired illustrators, artists and writers. I’ve collaborated on website projects, and regularly create social media/digital files for clients too. My clients are as diverse as the time zones they’re in, and the challenges they present.

But what I love – really love – is magazine layout. I dig document design. I love the sum of the pieces that go into a product that makes it more than just another printed piece. I love labouring over the tiny details, to get things “just right”. And I am a total sucker for holding a finished print piece in my hot hands when it’s all done and dusted.
