Derek Evernden

 Vulcan County, AB

I’m a full time cartoonist and illustrator (member of the National Cartoonist Society and the Association of Canadian Cartoonists). My work has appeared in The Globe and Mail, WIRED (online), The American Bystander, Air Mail, Arch Magazine, Alberta Views, and Read Alberta (where I have contributed monthly editorial cartoons since 2021). Three collections of my single panel comic Bogart Creek (@bogartcreek) have been published by Canmore’s Renegade Arts Entertainment. My cartoons and comics have been appeared in various anthologies including “Send Help!: A Collection of Marooned Cartoons” (Little, Brown And Company, 2021), “Aislin’s Favorite Covid Cartoons From Around the World” (Aisling Publishers, 2021), and “Alberta Comics: Home” (Renegade Arts Entertainment, 2022). I live in the Village of Milo, in Vulcan County, with my wife and three very spoiled chickens.
