Location: Calgary
Amber McLinden holds a B.Comm in journalism with a minor in social innovation and nonprofit management and recently won the 2018 Student Award of Excellence from the Canadian Association of Journalists. She is a Calgary-based writer whose passion lies in telling meaningful stories. Her recent stint working on Avenue’s Top 40 Under 40 project allowed her to write about the city she loves and the people who are shaping its future. She has words in Avenue Calgary, Avenue Edmonton, WestJet Magazine, Marriott Traveler and more.
