Alannah Page is a multimedia journalist who holds a B.Comm in journalism from Mount Royal University. While completing her degree, she served as the co-lead editor for The Calgary Journal, an investigative fellow with the Institute of Investigative Journalism and an editorial intern at both Global Calgary as well as Avenue Magazine. She is now with the Lacombe Express as the paper’s sole reporter and editor. With a passion for hyperlocal reporting, she has most recently been awarded the Canadian Association of Journalists 2019 Investigative Data Journalism Award for her work discovering lead in Alberta’s drinking water.
