TH4: Design & Typography: Setting the Conditions for Curiosity

Michèle is a designer who wanders between research, art direction and publication design. A Sandberg Institute graduate, she frames design as a form of public inquiry. Her redesign of Hazlitt, a digital literary magazine by Penguin Random House Canada, won Website of the Year from the National Magazine Awards. Michèle has partnered with Daniel Canty, Centre for Digital Rights, Philip Cheung, Droog, Estuaire, Mediamatic, Metahaven, Strelka Institute and VPRO, a Dutch public broadcaster. She writes for Back Office, C Magazine, Failed Architecture, The Gradient by Walker Art Centre and Volume by Archis Foundation.
