Danielle Groen writes The Globe and Mail’s flagship newsletter, Morning Update, helping readers make sense of their world by going deep each day on a major story with original reporting and analysis. Before that, she was the editorial director of Serviette, which took home Magazine of the Year at the 2025 National Magazine Awards. And before that, she spent 15 years producing ambitious longform journalism for magazines across Canada, including The Walrus, Toronto Life, Chatelaine and The Grid.
