Christina Frangou is a writer and journalist. Her reporting has garnered multiple national awards and nominations, including a National Newspaper Award in long feature writing for a story about her experience as a young widow. She covers health and social issues, and has written about loneliness, safe consumption sites, medical assistance in dying, and refugee health. Christina’s work has appeared in The Globe and Mail, Avenue, Chatelaine, Alberta Views and The Huff Post, among others. She is a graduate of Carleton University’s School of Journalism and the London School of Economics.
