Charlene Rooke is a journalist who has been involved in branded content in 2002, when she joined Air Canada’s enRoute magazine. Since then, as the creative lead at three content agencies (Spafax’s Luxury Brands unit, the Globe Content Studio and CW Media), she has created print, digital and video strategies for many blue-chip clients: travel organizations from Fairmont Hotels & Resorts to Tourism Vancouver and Ontario Tourism, auto brands Mercedes-Benz and Audi, consumer and retail brands like Holt Renfrew and Elizabeth Arden, business and financial services clients like HSBC and KPMG Enterprise, government agencies like BC Hydro and the Liquor Control Board of Ontario plus many non-profits and charities. She is currently the freelance Drinks Editor for the Liquor Control Board of Ontario’s Food & Drink magazine and contributes to branded magazines including BC Liquor Stores’Taste, Sotheby’s Insight, RTOERO’s Renaissance and more.
