On Spec Ceases Publication

October 10, 2025

On Spec has announced that it will cease publication as of December 2025, with the release of Volume 35, Issue No. 4 marking its final issue.

We wish a fond farewell and well-earned retirement to our colleague, AMPA member, and friend, Diane Walton. Diane’s commitment to the Canadian science fiction and fantasy reading and writing community is evident through the many years of On Spec’s publication.
