As part of the implementation of the National Artificial Intelligence Strategy, AI for All, The Department of Canadian Heritage is developing a new Creative Technology Program, a $50 million initiative designed to support the cultural sector’s adaptation to technological change, including advances in artificial intelligence.
To support the design of this program, they have launched the National Survey on the Cultural Sector’s Readiness for Artificial Intelligence. The survey aims to better understand organizations’ level of readiness, identify the challenges and opportunities associated with AI adoption, and gather feedback to help inform the program’s development.
The survey is intended for organizations, businesses, associations, and other stakeholders across Canada’s cultural sector. The questionnaire takes approximately 10 minutes to complete and will be available until September 15.
Responses will be analyzed confidentially and reported only in aggregate form to protect respondents’ identities.
