Today, RedPoint Media Group, publisher of Avenue magazine as well as many other award-winning print and digital publications, announced that it has been acquired by Käthe Lemon and Roger Jewett.
Lemon has been the President of RedPoint for the past year and a half and prior to that was the Editor of Avenue magazine for 15 years. Lemon, in her role as President of RedPoint, will continue to lead daily operations while executing her mandate to expand RedPoint’s product offering of custom publications, digital design and content creation and fractional marketing services.
Jewett has been RedPoint’s CFO for the past two and a half years and will now assume the role of CEO. Roger previously led two marketing companies as President of RareMethod and CEO of Twist Marketing and has experience as an investor and CEO or CFO of several successful, rapidly growing companies in the ski resort, medical device, aviation and environmental services industries.

Established more than two decades ago, RedPoint Media Group is now the largest locally owned magazine publisher in Calgary. RedPoint is the publisher of Avenue magazine as well as custom publications including the award-winning Leap magazine on behalf of the Alberta Cancer Foundation, SPUR on behalf of the Calgary Foundation, Create Calgary on behalf of Calgary Arts Development, the BOMA Building Guide and others.
Avenue magazine has become Calgary’s premier city lifestyle magazine and includes signature programs such as its annual Best Restaurants list and Avenue’s Top 40 Under 40. The magazine has won accolades from the International Regional Magazine Association, the Western Magazine Awards, National Magazine Awards and in 2020 was named Alberta Magazine of the Year.
Lemon, who prior to being named President of RedPoint was the Editor of Avenue for 15 years, was named Editor of the Year by the Alberta Magazine Publishers Association in 2007.

RedPoint Media Group has roots in Calgary dating back to 1994 when flagship title, Avenue magazine, started publishing. For the past several years the company has been owned and operated by Pete Graves, prior to which it was owned by his father, Don Graves.
“Having worked with Käthe for so many years, and in so many areas, I believe in her 100 per cent,” said former owner Pete Graves. “Käthe loves RedPoint, and it is a great partnership with Roger, who has had success in a number of industries.
