10 Reasons You Should Attend the 2022 Publishers’ Summit!

Date: 5th April 2022

  1. The 2022 Publishers Summit is back by popular demand! And it has been planned as an exclusive opportunity for publishers, owners and team leaders like you to come together, learn and share.
  2. Our guest speaker, John Wilpers, has an encyclopaedic knowledge of media trends and has worked with clients around the globe on turning around their businesses.
  3. In addition to a keynote session with John, we have time for large and small group networking. This is a terrific time to reconnect with colleagues and forge new connections.
  4. We have brought innovation to this year’s Summit! In addition to polling members in advance about the issues and trends they want John to cover in depth, the afternoon will be broken into one-on-one consulting blocks. This is your chance to get direct and confidential advice on how to solve a problem in your business.
  5. The schedule has been organized to ensure that out-of-town guests can travel to and from the session on the day, and get the most out of the program and the one-on-one sessions. Those members from out-of-town who request consulting meetings with John Wilpers will be accommodated earliest in the afternoon to allow time to hit the road back to home base.
  6. There’s strength in numbers – our industry and regional concerns are best served when we find time to work together at relationships and issues.
  7. We promise this will be a professional development high point and time well spent.
  8. AMPA staff and Board members will be available for questions about services, advocacy and questions about grants.
  9. Fill up on a delicious catered lunch sourced from an award-winning local business!
  10. Dale Carnegie famously said, “People rarely succeed unless they have fun in what they are doing.” So put your inbox on pause for a day, and join us in Calgary on 23 June for an exciting day of learning and sharing!
