Job Description

T8N Magazine is seeking a Graphic Artist / Designer to join its team in helping create our vibrant St. Albert publication and our other publications and platforms. This position is ideal for a local Greater Edmontonian who is able to work from home and handle varying hours and time commitment. If you want to be part of something great, this position is for you.

Responsibilities:

• Overall editorial design;
• Design attractive and effective display advertisements;
• Maintain creativity within editorial and advertising;
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with editors, photographers and printers;
• Prepare final files for press.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in professional graphic design;
• Proficiency Adobe Creative Suite – Illustrator, Photoshop and In Design;
• Proven skills in magazine / web design and social media presentations;
• Experience working with typography, infographics, and photo manipulation;
• Detail orientated;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• Proven track record adhering to deadlines and brand standards.
