Workshop: Fostering Inclusive and Respectful Workplaces

Event Date: 19th November 2019

The Alberta Magazine Publishers Association and the Book Publishers Association of Alberta, with the support of the Alberta Cultural Industries Association, are pleased to present a workshop on fostering inclusive and respectful workplaces. This half-day workshop will help participants build awareness about the importance of creating safe workplaces, and how to promptly and proactively address inappropriate behaviour, harassment or discrimination. Participants will explore strategies that are relevant and applicable to the publishing industry, and discuss the process for creating and implementing policies fairly and consistently in both small and large organizations.
