In our fall 2018 issue, Mynthia McDaniel proved to Archive readers that while you may first despise something, it could very well turn into an obsession years later.
Mynthia, a Calgary-based ceramic artist, attended her first pottery class and vowed to never touch the medium again. Years later, when signing up for elective courses at the post-secondary level, and finding herself ‘stuck’ with ceramics, she discovered a love for the art form and hasn’t looked back.
Exploring new techniques while creating beautiful pieces, Mynthia McDaniel’s story fits Archive to a tee. We were thrilled to share this feature as it’s inspiring and encourages people to get a bit uncomfortable while trying something new. We hope you enjoy this glimpse into both Archive and Mynthia’s passion.
