At the Interface

Publication: filling Station

“At the Interface” is from an interview series published in a recent issue of filling Station, showcasing science and technology in experimental literature, in which we talked to scientists, authors, and artists about their work and asked them to weigh in on the possibility of cross-pollination between their respective fields. In this particular interview, we heard from Madhur Anand, ecologist and author of A New Index for Predicting Catastrophes, a collection of poetry inspired by her professional work. Anand speaks to the need for closer ties between science and literature, stressing how this linkage is made at the individual level. You can read Anand’s interview, along with four others, in Issue 71 of filling Station.
