Currently freelancing as a writer/editor/researcher (sometimes all three simultaneously) and specializing in topics in Canadian culture and history, I have contributed pieces to magazines such as Avenue and Chatelaine and Canadian Geographic while also writing or editing for book publishers including Altitude, Heritage House and University of Alberta Press. Postgrad degrees in communications/history and professional writing. Proud survivor of the Canadian publishing industry since 1980.
