Connecting & Courts

Publication: Anthem

The article is the story of our assistant professor of Sociology Monetta Bailey’s research into the differences between immigrant youth and Canadian-born youth who are involved with the criminal justice system as a part of her Ph.D. Bailey hopes that her work and findings will help to transform the approach to youth justice in Alberta and Canada.

Anthem as a publication profiles the stories of Ambrose Staff, Faculty, Students, and Alumni that are affecting positive change in society. This is the reasoning for selecting this story as a perfect example of this mission.
